My History
Robert (Bob) Wolff P.E. is the founder, managing member and sole employee of BRE Engineers, PLLC. Mr. Wolff has over 35 years of facility design, construction and facility management within the life science industry. BRE has been in business for over ten years. Bob is a licensed professional Engineer in Multiple States, a NFPA technical committee code member and has certifications from NFPA, ASHRAE, USGBC, AEE, AHA and PMI. He is a recognized electrical subject matter expert. Bob has worked on projects ranging from small renovations to multi billions of dollars.
Services
BRE Engineers specializes in representing owners within the electrical discipline on large life science construction projects. Bob has filled this role for numerous large pharmaceutical clients and projects. During design, this "Trusted Advisor" role allows Mr. Wolff to render an independent and insightful opinion as to best use of capital, pros and cons of design decisions and code compliance. Bob has a thorough knowledge of Electrical drawings and specifications. This deep knowledge along with frequent inspections during construction ensures compliance with contract documents, limits re-work and delays.
My Value
I am able to scrutinize all submittals of drawings and specifications (yes, I actually read specs) prepared by other professionals, suggest alternatives, identify omissions and recommend improvements. I ensure design compliance with owners wishes and check for code compliance. During construction I ensure the contractor understands the specs and drawings, owner's wishes and project nuances. I will expedite RFIs and review change orders.
